For the first time ever Lincoln Place Shul in Crown Heights held a public Menorah lighting.
The menorah was displayed in front of the Lincoln place Shul and Beis Hamedrash during the entire Chanukah.
It was a tremendous experience for many of the attendees that came with their families.
The Menorah was lit by Rabbi Meyer Shushan, the Rov of the Shul, who spoke about the message of Chanukah.
Rabbi Levi Matusof then explained a Sicha of the Rebbe.
The 12 Pesukim were recited by the children, and dozens of doughnuts were given out with a raffle on several prizes.
Afterwards participants broke out in joyous dance, having waited many years for the occasion of this event happening in this part of Crown Heights, organizers said.
