Yisroel Amar, junior winner of A Jewish Star 2011, celebrated his Bar Mitzvah this week in Miami with family and friends.
During the simcha, Yisroel gave a live performance of a brand new song from his upcoming album, celebrating the connection between Tefilin and Hakadosh Baruch Hu.
The song, composed by Yitzy Amar, is taken from the Maamer that Lubavitch boys recite for their Bar Mitzvah.
The music was provided by Yossi Bayles Orchestra and singers, with special guest Yishai Lapidot of Israel, who flew to Miami just to attend the simcha.
Yishai will also be featured on one of the tracks from Yisroel’s upcoming album.
