The North Fulton communities of Alpharetta and Johns Creek have long been known as popular destinations for young families looking to put down roots and start a family. Affordable housing, beautiful landscapes, very low crime rate, and great schools all come together in these North Atlanta suburbs to create the ideal quality of life and environment for raising fine children.
This month that uniqueness attracted a Jewish rising star to relocate his family to the area. Reuven Formey – widely known by his stage name Prodezra – has moved into Alpharetta with his wife and three children where they have joined the Chabad of North Fulton and have been welcomed by Shluchim Hirshy and Rashi Minkowicz and Dov Ber and Devorah Leah Thaler.
Prodezra is a Hasidic Hip Hop artist who also creates reggae, “country-rap” tunes, pop and rock tracks. His music cleverly blends the latest in pop culture with relevant life messages based on Jewish Hasidic and mystical teachings.
In Alpharetta Prodezra plans to continue writing his music, composing albums, and expects to travel around the country performing at concerts and events.
His first local appearance will be on September 15, 2011, at a performance at the ‘Bar Mitzvah Party’ for Chabad of North Fulton celebrating 13 years of community, caring and sharing.
