For many years the Beit Chabad of Milan, under the leadership of Rabbi Moshe Shaikevitz and Rabbi Sendi Wilshansky, with the help of the bochurim of the Yeshiva and the Seminary girls organize a Lag B’Omer parade along the street in the Bande Nere area.
The parade began in a local park where the boys and the girls enjoyed paying games, and from there everyone marched together to the Jewish School.
Along the way the children sang Jewish songs and said the 12 Pesukim, while proudly holding banners picturing different Mitzvot. Cars decorated with Jewish elements drove along the parade in the streets.
Arriving at the Jewish school, a special children’s program began, organized by the Jewish Community in collaboration with Rabbi Levi Hezkia and the Beit Chabad.
A traditional bonfire was lit, while Rabbi Moshe Lazar entertained the children with a story, and Yossi Labi together with Shmuel Hezkia organized music, games and a reffle for a brand new bicycle.
