A Lag B’Omer celebration of Jewish pride was held at the Abasto Shopping mall in Buenos, Aires, Argentina, one of the city’s largest malls.
Hundreds of children marched from the Chabad Shul on Bolougne Sur Mer through the Jewish neighborhood of Once, as onlookers emotionally watched and celebrated the Jewish pride.
Over 2,500 people participated, from 15 Jewish schools in the area.
The event started with a rally, led by MC Rabbi Shloimy Taubenfliegel, music, reciting the 12 Pesukim by representatives of the schools, and a performance by the Bochurim of the Yeshiva.
An inspiring message was given by the head Shliach of Argentina Rabbi Tzvi Grunblatt and special guest, the Rebbe’s Mazkir Rabbi Leibel Groner.
The children then split into four groups, rotating between Neverland (an indoor amusement park), the local children’s museum, a Jewish movie on a mega screen in the Hoyt’s theatre and a gourmet lunch.
“The event was a major success and unbelievable demonstration of Achdus,” organizers said.
Special thanks to the Bachurim and Shluchim of the yeshiva and Mesivta, the girls of the Chabad High School, and young men of the Kollel for their dedication.
The event was organized by Tzach of Chabad Lubavitch Argentina.
