Members of the Jewish and Israeli institutions in New York have received Shmurah Matzoh for their Pesach Seder by Chabad.
The organizations include the Jewish Federation of North America (JFNA); Israeli Consulate; United Jewish Appeal (UJA) and Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of New York; Israel Bonds; the Israel Mission to the United Nations and the Israel Defence Force Offices.
“This is part of the Rebbe’s activities of helping Jews with receiving Shmurah Matzah” said Rabbi Shmuel Butman, Director of Lubavitch Youth Organization, Tzeirei Agudas Chabad Hamerkozis.
“I am happy that Chabad Lubavitch brought Matzah for all the employees of Israel’s Mission to the United Nations” said Ambassador Gilad Erdan, Chief Israel representative at the United Nations.
Eric Goldstein, Chief Executive Officer, United Jewish Appeal (UJA) and Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of New York spoke about “the great contribution Chabad Lubavitch does to keep up Judaism all over the world” and thanked Chabad Lubavitch for bringing Shmurah Matzoh to all employees of UJA- Federation of New York.
Dani Naveh, the president and CEO of Israel Bonds noted that it has been a tradition for all the executives and employees of Israel Bonds to receive Shmurah Matzah from the Lubavitch Youth Organization.
