Jewish Girls Unite (JGU) will be hosting a virtual gala, Thursday, July 14 at 7:30pm ET. A women’s-only evening of inspiration and connection with GROW Mentors, celebrating our Founders and Circle Members while benefiting the spiritual and emotional connection of women worldwide.
Dedicated in loving memory of Claire Kosden-Perskie, by her loving daughter Micki Massry and granddaughter Julie Knox. Claire was a Holocaust survivor who embodied connection with her loved ones and faith throughout her life. Inspired by her legacy, JGU welcomes women of all backgrounds to join the GROW Connection Network
“Connection is the key to life, the most essential human desire…and it will ensure a vibrant Jewish future,” says Nechama Laber, JGU Global Director.
The virtual gala will feature Singer Ahavah Keet with the campers of the current Jewish Girls Retreat, Tzirel Liba Mitzmann and dancer Karen Sarto, as well as the launch of GROW Through Prayer by the JGU Press, of which the pilot edition was praised at the last International Kinus HaShluchos.
JGU will also recognize 18 GROW hostesses from the GROW Connection Circle and the first cohort to complete the new GROW Mentorship program.
“Here, everyone of all backgrounds belongs. It is a judgment-free and safe space for moving from a place of disconnect to connection,” says GROW Mentor Terri Klein.
GROW Mentor Shaindel Leanse says, “When I come [to this group], I feel connected to the whole, to the Oneness in me.”
