The stories are told by the thousands. The details differ, but they share a common theme: They came, they left – and somewhere in the middle, they were helped. Whether through a blessing or a piece of unexpected advice, the result was an astonishing turnaround. Any chosid alive today has encountered someone who has experienced a miracle involving the Rebbe.
The My Encounter with the Rebbe project has already encountered many such stories throughout its interviews. Now, JEM is in early stages of producing a film, which would present the best of these stories, and is seeking to interview more of these stories of the Rebbe within the next year.
If you have an idea of such a story, please tell us. The criteria are:
The direct first-person participants can be interviewed.
Priority will be given to stories where part of the story was recorded in some form – such as an exchange with the Rebbe in video, audio, film, or photos.
If more than one first-person participant in the story can tell their perspective, enabling the viewer to see it from multiple perspectives.
Please email potential leads and stories to: ycagen@jemedia.org
An excerpt from an interview witnessed by Rabbi Hershel Chitrik:
At 3:59 in the video it should be changed from “To bring the DIAMONDS back as a present” to “To bring the BAG back as a present” being that it states earlier in the video that the diamonds were sown into the bag, that would of made self incriminating to say she knew there was diamonds there, and was bringing it as a present.
I thought the specialty of chabad chasidim was that they are Chassidim even though there are no open miracles. The fact that we are Chasidim is supposed to be a miracle…. Like the Rebbe told Rabbi Chitrik the miracle was that the man listened to him and went to Miami

These interviews and stories are recorded and produced professionally and properly, and that doesn’t come cheap. JEM still manages to put these out at very reasonable prices so that us regular simple people can enjoy them.
Check out jemstore.com. That’s just for us regular simple people!
