A pavilion area in Oholei Torah school’s elementary division was recently dedicated by Crown Heights businessman Yerachmeal Jacobson and his wife Rivka Leah.
The dedication was made in memory of their fathers, R’ Betzalel Jacobson obm, whose first Yahrtzeit was on the day of the dedication, and R’ Shloma Shmuel Arye Capland obm, who was dedicated to Chinuch.
Both fathers were connected in the realm of Chinuch and Oholei Torah, where they have children and grandchildren who learn in the Mossad.
“Yerachmeal felt that making a dedication in an educational institute would be a tremendous merit for their fathers, where young children learn Torah each and every day,” said Rabbi Nosson Blumes, Director of Development for Oholei Torah. “R’ Yerachmeal and his family are close friends and staunch supporters of Oholei Torah in addition to the fact that they are Oholei Torah alumni,” he said.
During the dedication, the family and many friends joined for a Siyum Sefer Torah and Seudah.
Go Zalmy! We love you!
