Tonight, Thursday, Chof Tammuz, marks the 100th birthday of Reb Meir Itkin.
The Itkin Family has initiated the writing of a Sefer Torah in honor of their parents, Reb Meir and Sima Chasya obm Itkin, and their brother Zalmen Itkin obm, Shliach from Hamilton, Ontario.
The beginning of the writing of the Sefer Torah will take place tonight, Thursday night (tonight) in the Itkin home, 760 Eastern Parkway, at 9:30 p.m.
