Members of the Kitat Konenut in the IDF are training in the Jordan Valley over the course of 3 weeks as part of a frum unit in a special IDF training program to become infantry men.
After a full day of combat training in the field, the Siyum took place in soldier’s barracks at midnight.
The soldiers enjoyed hearing about the Rebbe’s directive of learning Rambam while sitting down to a seudas mitzvah generously donated by the shluchim of Chabad Persian Youth in Los Angeles, Rabbi and Mrs. Hertzel Peer and Yosef and Geula Peer.

Hashem protect our soldiers and in the merit of this siyum may we see moshiach now!
great to see u!
This is where I feel we should all be.
So go there. No one’s stopping you.
The Jordan Valley is among the most beautiful places there is. And among the most important to the security of the Jewish people. Strengthening our hold on it is an imperative. Nice to see the terrain in green after the winter rain.
