A Chabad Chossid from Crown Heights, Rabbi Henoch Junik, left everything behind and traveled to Israel at the outset of the Gaza war on October 7 in order to volunteer in the IDF when the war broke out.
As reported, his wife and 6 children were finally able to visit him in Israel for the first time 4 months after he left.
Today, Junik arrived home after 6 long months, his first time coming home to his family since the war began.
His family and friends greeted him with great joy at the airport in New York on Tuesday.
