Wow. What an ultimate special Zechus Mr & Mrs Emanuel have. Not had then but Have !

I am not a great historian of
ChaBaD. But I think this only happened once more with the Rebbe.

As Rabbi Majeski asked…. Tell me about your ancestors, your family tree. There must be something out of the ordinary to bring such a Zchus to you.

Powerful story. Thanks for sharing.

(I’ve heard this story. Saw the clip. Always brings back a very warm feeling)

Just wondering…

Why should it be in the merit of ancestors….perhaps it was her very own merit that she was Zoicha to have this special interaction with the Rebbe… just a thought.

it’s this thing frum people say, but i agree it’s robbing a person of a complement, maybe it’s in her merit for becoming religious

Absolutely. This story is just one of thousands of the Rebbe’s extraordinary sensitivity and care. To me, these are the stories that truly bring out the greatness of the Rebbe; always attentive to the details and concerns of others.

This week’s Living Torah was about the Rebbe’s role of uplifting us. What he gave this couple here is beyond belief! Very special story.

After the farbrengen, my husband and I were told to wait by the Rebbe’s room. He came out, wished us Mazal Tov Mazal Tov, and gave each of us a dollar.

belonging

Maybe you thought of this already, but one of the possible results of having your sheva brachas at a Farbrengen is to give you a feeling a belonging and inclusion with the Chabad kehilla and the Rebbe. I know as a BT that oftentimes we feel sort of part of things but alien. So here the Rebbe wasn’t just being sensitive to make sure your wedding wasn’t disturbed, but he was actually using the farbrengen to produce a huge experience of belonging, which it could very well be is something you were struggling with.
