The pro-Palestinian protest near Times Square in New York City this past Thursday turned out to be violent when Jews were punched and attacked.
One Lubavitcher chossid watching video footage from the event noticed that one of the protestors, speaking out against Israel while it was fending off thousands of Hamas terror rockets, was there with a company vehicle.
The company was AvalonAir, an air conditioning installation and repair service in Westchester County, New York. The Lubavitcher contacted the owner to ask about his views and policies.
The owner John Bresnan was deeply disturbed to hear the news about how his employee represented the company. The employee was soon fired from the job, COLlive.com was told.
In a public letter, Bresnan wrote: “Avalonair wants to extend our deepest and sincerest apologies to our Jewish neighbors and friends.”
“One of our employees was seen with one of our trucks and wearing our uniform at a pro-Palestinian protest in Times Square. This protest was violent and innocent people suffered physical injuries,” he wrote.
“We do no support this employee’s views,” he stated. “We do not support terrorism or violence to our Jewish neighbors and friends in any way, shape or form. We do not condone this behavior from any of our employees. We were shocked and disgusted.”
“The offending employee has been dealt with and we ensure that this offensive and inconsiderate behavior will not be repeated by any of our employees in the future.”

Great thinking to call the company!
That’s the only language they understand
about time someone took blame
The letter doesn’t say he was fired. Was he?
Ideally, “dealt with” would mean that he was taken out back and a few well-placed 2x4s were applied. But in lieu of that, firing will have to do.
A website should be created with pictures (names, face recognition) and offense dates of all those who partake in anti semitic activity. This way employers and others can make informed hiring decisions.
But will anyone actually do it?
May I humbly suggest that he hire extra security? No joke.
He may also need a good lawyer.
