Education mentor Rabbi Dr. Jonathan Rietti gives a fascinating presentation on how to “raise a Mentch.”
Rietti is the director of Machon Daas U’sevuna where he has taught, mentored, and guided thousands of mechanchim and mechanchos. He has studied the Jewish educational scene for decades, carefully analyzed the problems and issues faced by schools and students and has single handedly began to change the way things are done.
This lecture was given at last summer’s Chinuch conferences of the Merkos Chinuch Office, directed by Rabbi Nochum Kaplan.

This should be mandatory for all parents and teachers
There is an amazing school in L.A. which has been using Rabbi Rietti’s Judaic Montessori based curriculum and the kids who go there are from the few who can translate a posuk of chumash word for word independently. I think it is about time all schools adapt a true “Al Pi Darko” curriculum.
