When one steps inside the new ‘Welcome Home’ shop on Kingston Avenue, it feels surprisingly spacious, even though it is located one floor down from street level.
Billed as a one-stop-shop for Kallahs, the newly renovated store is well-stocked with all the necessities a young couple needs to start their home.
‘Welcome Home’, located at 321 Kingston Avenue, was opened by Ariel Pinson, whose family has owned Weinstein’s Hardware on Kingston Avenue for nearly 30 years.
“Our goal is to provide a service to Kallahs that will take all the hassle and stress out of setting up their new home,” Pinson told COLlive.
The store will offer discounted prices on small appliances, such as the Bosch challah mixer, for which Pinson says he will beat any price.
“Knowing that most young couples are on a tight budget,” he says, “all of our items are discounted.”
Lining every inch of the walls of the brightly lit store are kitchen basics such as knives and peelers, flatware and small appliances, pots and bakeware, and all sorts of dishes, all neatly lined up and open to touch, feel and sample.
For Kallahs, this may be the ideal way to shop. The store offers wedding registry services, and other perks such as toiveling, storage until after the wedding, and free delivery.
Pinson prides himself on the selection he offers, aside from the discounted prices.
“With our many years experience, our customers know they can rely on us to help them set up their home efficently and easily,” says Pinson.

I love the pinson stores they are all pleasant people to deal with. I think they have a store in broropark and flatbush.
Wish them a lot of MAZAL at the new location
Wow, seems like ever since I left crown heights, more and more businesses are springing up, that provide good, useful, high class services! I’m very impressed with all the new changes, and this one really beats all!
Recommendation to the owners- bring in sets of Corelle dishes. While the dish sets you have on display are beautiful, and I myself have one just like those which I got from Ten Yad and greatly enjoy, the more practical-minded among us prefer the lightweight, unbreakable quality of Correlle.
Just my two cents 🙂
I think the key is to have a well-run registry. Good job and much success!
it’s so relaxing to shop there, amidst all the rush of wedding plans, great idea and in the heart of Kingston ave, no less. excellent – kol hakovod.

Wishing the pinson family much success on their new branch. I’ve been shopping with Mr. Pinson senior and junior for many years now. I give them 5 stars for their costumer service. Even if it was for a little 99cent item they always gave me the time of day to suit my needs.
