Ignore the Pressure, Focus on Security:
Every time Israel has acted to secure its people, international criticism has followed. History shows that succumbing to external pressure has turned numerous victories into defeat. This week, Israel has demonstrated commendable resolve, but the real challenge lies ahead: Remain firm and ignore the inevitable pushback.
Miracles Result from Humility:
Perhaps the most profound lesson is the need for humility, which means continuing to pray and recognize that success ultimately comes from G-d. Before the Six-Day War, when everyone foretold destruction, it was unambiguous miracles that led to astounding military achievements. After Israel’s recent stunning successes at the northern border, we must not fall into the trap of thinking it was solely our strength or strategy that brought success. We must remain humble, acknowledging that the IDF’s sacrifices and efforts are crowned by G-d’s miracles. To secure lasting success, we need both strength and continued reliance on faith and prayer.
If Israel acts with faith and acknowledges G-d’s blessings, she will continue to see remarkable results.
