The six managers of the Crown Heights softball teams have voted Chezky Herz as the Most Valuable Player for the 2010 Regular Season by a count of 4-2.
Herz, star pitcher of the COLlive Tribe, pitched his team to a record of 17 wins and 8 defeats.
Herz also batted .317 with 5 doubles, 5 homers and a Crown Heights Softball League record of 12 Intentional Walks.
“Chezky is a five tool player – great arm, speed, power, hits for average and is the most feared pitcher in the league,” League Commissioner Zevi Steinhauser said in a statement to COLlive. “This honor is well deserved.”
Herz’s team, the COLlive Tribe, was number one for the season, and are facing off with the Landmark Funding Red Heifers, the AWS Skullcaps, and the Printhouse Hammers in the Playoffs.
The second and third games will take place today at 7:20 pm at St. John’s Rec Park in Crown Heights.

I agree!!!! the league is missing dovie big big time!!
theres a bunch of great players on his team. its a team sport thats how they made the playoffs. not JUST because of him hes a part of it.
He plays with outstanding talent and is full of heart. He is the real deal. Way to go Chezky!
My question is does he play with talent or with heart?
When does Dovi Smith get elected into the CHSoftball hall of fame.
Way to go, Chezky
the shvig
Just to clarify he’s the second best pitcher in the league, but he’s definitely the MVP of his team; without him there’s no way they make the postseason.
#2 you sound a bit bitter
how is is NASDAQ??
He might or he may not but either way that’s not called voting. Each person has their own definition of the title MVP and that’s why it’s called VOTING. Otherwise, just give the Best Pitcher award.
Jack
You don’t think he deserves it?
Is this one of Zevi’s behind the door stunts? Who exactly voted? BTW, Thanks for the video.. Please post more.
