Mimenu Yiru V’chein Ya’asu.

I believe that it is fair to say that there exisst today a more cordial yachas between Lubavitch and Satmar than we enjoy with many other chassideshe chatzeiros.

I am glad to see that people are taking the time to express good will here in a public forum.

pictures are great

since when is bedford between Union and President considered CH? Like CHers shouldn’t be alarmed when they see them…? why would anyone see them if they’re on bedford???

I belong to the Satmar Rebbe Reb Zalmen Leib Shlita.

I am happy that Crown Heights Asken Rabbi Sperlin was helping the chasidim of Reb Aharon. After all we are “ONE KLLAL YISROEL” and have one thing that we all can agree on “Lehrumas Kvod Shomayim”.

I heard from many askonim in Williamsburg that Rabbi Sperlin continues to help all people from all neighborhoods.

(Also, Kislev in a Yom Tov for Lubavitch (Yud-Tes) and for Satmar Chof-Alef).

10,000?
December 6, 2011 4:13 pm

I don’t believe the place holds 10,000 people, unless they’ll be standing really packed tightly. It would not fit 5,000 people for the Kinnus, sitting comfortably around round tables. I also wonder about restrooms…

PARKING

Just a word from the wise to the wise – do NOT move your car Motzoei Shabbos, or you won’t find parking all night…

HISTORY IN CROWN HEIGHTS

TODAY THE CONNECTION BETWEEN LUBAVITCH AND SATMAR(ESPECIALY R’ AHRON’S CHASSIDIM) IS VERY DIFERENT THAN THE TEKUFA OF THE LAMEDS AND MEMS.

its to mark their chag hageula on 21st kislev of the satmar rebbe from concentration camp….ruimour has it it took place on yud tes but that was too much to stomach so they moved it 2 days.

Reason of this event
December 6, 2011 11:15 am

They are celebrating a commemoration (or סעודת הודאה) for the old satmar rabbi reb joel which at that time had escaped from the nazis during the world war two and on the same way they are raising money for their schools so it’s actually also a dinner

very nice bh
