While 770 remains closed due to the recent vandalism, for those who regularly Daven at 770 Shul, there will be minyanim at the Heichal Halimud on the corner of President Street and Albany Avenue.
Located at 1475 President, entrance on Albany by the alley, the Heichal Halimud is prepared to welcome all those who need a Minyan, says Rabbi Levi Browd, director of the Heichal Halimud.
“Heichal Halimud has always been a space completely dedicated for people to learn with no distractions, however we believe this will be an opportunity to draw more people inside who will then stay after the minyan – or come earlier – and take advantage of the opportunity for learning, and generally increase their awareness – as well as of those they know – of their ability to have the place and environment for learning,” Rabbi Browd said. “We have considered doing this for quite some time, the current situation was the final push to making this a reality for the long term.”
The minyanim will start tonight with Maariv. There will be one minyan (and one chazan) for Shacharis, Mincha, and Maariv during the week (not Shabbos or Motzei Shabbos for the time being)
Shacharis 8 am
Mincha 3:30 pm
Maariv 9:45 pm
– There is no Sefer Torah on premises at this time, however if someone has one a safe may be available – please contact Yagdil Torah if you have access to a Torah.
To receive updates about the minyanim please contact Yagdil Torah at yagdilt@gmail.com or 347.223.5943 with the word “updates” in the message.
At this time the heichal at 574 Empire remains open with no Minyanim from 6am – 2am (yes – 20 hours a day).

Amazing. More minyanim More learning. And a beautiful new expanded 770 with the world watching. The Rebbe Sicha will be fulfilled . Amein Moshiach Now
So you’re providing a space with one minyan shachris, one mincha, and one mariv, but not shabbos and no Torah, to replace 770 that has a few dozen minyanim for every Tefilah. That’s very kind of you
…since apparently you’re dissatisfied, then step up to the plate. Open up your house for a few dozen minyanim every day, Shabbos included, and make sure there are lots of sifrei Torah.
…or did you just want to complain about those who are doing something?
You are welcome to contribute with space, minyanim etc
Will 770 open for Shabbos
