Lev Ahava & Ahavas Yisroel & Chassidus
August 26, 2010 9:54 pm

This is like what Lubavitch is all about! Lubavitch stands for Lev Ahava (better to understand with Hebrew letters) loving heart, great love for every single Jew, Ahavas Yisroel. This special siddur stems to reach out & connect all Jews bring Jewish unity at home. Interesting to note, this Shabbas is Chai 18 of Elul, birthday the Bal Shem Tov, founder of Chassidus and Rabbi Shnuer Zalman of Ladi known as The Alter Rebbe ( also Bal HaTanya) who wrote the Tanya making chassidus accessible to the masses. B”H
Very happy to see people using their talents to unite all Jews & at the same time learn the beauty of Torah! This can be very informative, useful, educational & uplifting especially in todays day and age! I hope we can all learn the beauty of where we came from, who we really are & together want to come closer to Hashem;our Father in Heaven.

this is one of those things that make moshiach come closer

Go Zalman!
August 26, 2010 1:58 pm

Zalman Goldstein (“Shabbat Table Companion”) and Shlomie Gestetner (Maayonot) worked on this for several years.

The layout is just like his Companion series and when I was there before the summer there was a cart where they were bing given out for free and I saw many people who could use it actually davening from it.

Zalman, what a zechus you have to be mezakeh the Rabim in so many ways!

And shkoiach for the new CD that you just put out!

Good to see Lubovitch talent getting out there where it needs to be.

I was just there & my niece told me all about it (she used it whenever she went to the Kotel from seminary). I saw so many people using it. It’s very clear, well-explained, I davened from it Friday night. I’m sure it’s very helpful for people who don’t read Hebrew or who aren’t familiar with davenning. The explanations were very interesting.
