Reb Hershel Beryl (Harvey) Sarnoff, father of Chana Delfiner of Crown Heights, passed away on Sunday, 7 Tishrei, 5777.
He was 88.
Born in Brooklyn, Harvey was from the Swernovsky family, hailing from a Shtetl called Uzhlan (near Minsk).
An accountant by profession, he lived in Crown Heights after his marriage, later moving to the Midwood section of Brooklyn with his family.
He is survived by Cynthia Rose (Ron) and Chana Delfiner (Binyomin) and grandchildren Baruch Shalom Rose and Menachem Mendel Delfiner.
The Levaya will take place on Monday, 8th of Tishrei, October 10th, coming from Shomrei Hadas and passing 770 at 10 am.
Shiva will take place at 453 Empire Blvd. (Bklyn and NY) Upstairs
Monday 8 Tishrei 1pm – 8 pm, Tues 9 Tishrei 10- 12 and 1 -4
