Don’t fathers have the responsibility for the chinuch of the children? Why is all the responsibility put on the women?
Rabbi Wilhelm is bringing proof from the Talmud that it’s much harder to bring parnossa then give birth, (but he didn’t say that it’s harder then being”Mechanech your children”, which is what the mothers are responsible for. There is no epidural for raising children, just pure hard work for 20plus years of each childs life
Giving birth, educating children(which means disciplining and raising them until they become MENTCHEN) is much harder work then Parnossa. Sorry men, and you could bring every single commentary in the book, but a woman works 24/7

It is always comical to hear men discussing the pain and hardship of giving birth…as if they know! It would be more credible from a woman’s experienced perspective.
