The seventh and eighth grade girls class of the Lubavitch Cheder Day School in Twin Cities, Minnesota, taught by Morah Chana Friedman, made a “Lamed Tes Melachos Museum.”
Held over two days, the students displayed their projects depicting the Melachos of the Mishkan (work necessary for the building and running of the holy sanctuary in the desert which in turn constitutes work for the prohibition to work on Shabbos).
In addition to the other classes in the school, who learned much from the informative exhibits, the community was invited too. The talmidos served as the tour guides, sharing the details with all the visitors.
