YALDAH Media and Jewish Girls Retreat are proud to announce the release of the trailer for their movie, “One is Not a Lonely Number” filmed by the retreat’s campers during the 2011 summer session.
This musical film for women and girls is based on the novel by award-winning author, Evelyn Krieger. It tells the story of a young Jewish girl struggling with being an only child, and her friendship with an unusual guest.
The movie was written and directed by Chavie Resnick. Nechama Rivka Dubov lead the drama program.
The Jewish Girls Retreat, directed by Rabbi Avraham and Nechama Laber, runs summer and winter retreats for Jewish girls of all backgrounds.
With a focus on the arts, the retreat encourages girls to express themselves and connect to Judaism through their unique talents. One is Not a Lonely Number is the third movie produced by the camp.
