Girls’ Friday Mivtzoim in Memory of R’ Mendel Plotkin

Without fail, every Friday, Bais Rivka Seminary Beis students go on Mivtzoim together with fellow younger Bais Rivka girls.

The girls meet up in the seminary tent and go off to distribute candle kits and ‘Good Cards’ in Manhattan, Brooklyn or even Crown Heights.

The girls distribute about 100 candle sets every week!

“This is an amazing experience for both the seminary and younger Bais Rivka girls,” one parent said.

This week, the girls distributed special candle lighting kits and dedicated their Mivtzoim efforts in memory of Rabbi Mendel Plotkin obm, a true Chossid and devoted father, whose Yartzeit was on Thursday.

Please light candles early this week in Rabbi Plotkin’s memory, Menachem Mendel ben Meir Yaakov.

Special thank you to all the girls who help pack the Neshek every week. Thank you to sem girls who volunteer their Friday afternoons to lead younger Mivtzoim groups.
