An inspiring Shabbos program for girls participating in the inter-high school convention this weekend ended with a grand Melava Malka.
Friday afternoon the girls heard from Rabbi Levke Kaplan who spoke to them before Davening in 770 and visiting the Rebbe’s room.
The girls then joined for a beautiful Friday night meal with guest speaker Mrs. Molly Resnick who spoke about how a meeting in Brazil with a Bais Rivkah girl changed her life forever, and the power of a Bais Rivkah girl.
The meal was followed by farbrengens divided by grade, with Rabbi Kahanov, Rabbi Levi Avtzon from South Africa, Mrs. Gitty Rappaport and Mrs. Tzameret Borevitz.
Shabbos morning the girls joined Shiurim with Rabbi Berkowitz, Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum, Rabbi Gershon Lerman and Rabbi Levi Avtzon.
Shabbos afternoon a ‘Stump the Rabbi’ session was held divided by grade, with Rabbi Motty Lipsker, Rabbi Yossi Paltiel, Rabbi Naftoli Silberberg and Rabbi Levi Avtzon.
On Motzei Shabbos a grand Melava Malka was held, with master storyteller Yitzi Erps, dancing and a presentation by each school.
