It isn’t necessarily in the spirit of the Chabad approach to drop a sad and melancholy music video on the eve of tisha b’av. Regardless of how nice or soulful you might find this to be, a Chabad outfit should think twice before offering to be the outfit for disseminating this pre tisha b’av sadness. There are plenty of other channels who can do that and be true to their own roots. Share some positive uplifting messages, that don’t evoke sadness. Maybe you need reminding of what Tisha B’Av represents – the SADDEST and most TRAGIC day in our calendar. The Rebbe screamed about the destruction of the bais hamikdash (oh nooo we chabad are only uplifting!!! hmm…) and cried for the fact that moshiach is not here (no wayyy it isn’t necessarily the spirit of chabad!!!) umm what? Yes chabad focuses on va’asei tov and empowerment yet at the same time in the Torah it says we must MOURN and have a day of sadness. This song is soulful and beautiful and really provides a yid the space to… Read more »

your taste in music. your understanding of chabad. your taste in music words. your opinion on what’s appropriate for a website. your opinion on what’s appropriate to post on specific days. all wrapped up into one post stating what someone else should do based on everything of you.

may all have what they want without unwanted cost to or by anyone else.

WOW
