An event brimming with inspiration and upliftment took place this past week to commemorate the auspicious day of Gimmel Tammuz, near the Rebbe‘s Ohel in Queens. The event was organized by Chabad Lubavitch Centers of Queens and featured speeches and Chassidic music in preparation for the Rebbe’s yartzeit.
Held at Young Israel of Jamaica Estates, distinguished guests graced the occasion with their presence and shared their words of Torah. Rabbi Efraim Mintz, Executive Director of JLI (Rohr Jewish Learning Institute), delivered a captivating keynote address, infusing the audience with insights and wisdom.
Adding an enchanting musical element to the evening, the renowned Chazan Aryeh Leib Hurwitz captivated the audience with his soulful renditions of the Rebbe’s Niggunim. His melodious voice resonated in all attendees’ hearts, enhancing the gathering’s spiritual atmosphere.
Moreover, attendees enjoyed a special video presentation, further immersing themselves in the profound teachings and life of the Rebbe. A delightful buffet dinner and desserts were served, offering a delectable treat for all to savor.
Community members and guests from near and far gathered together to commemorate Gimmel Tammuz, a day that holds deep significance and carries the torch of the Rebbe’s eternal legacy. This gathering uplifted spirits and ignited souls, as attendees embraced the spirit of Gimmel Tammuz and marched forward, united in their mission to spread light and goodness throughout the world.
