Sunday night – Zos Chanukah, neighbors, friends and members gathered at the Lincoln Place Shul and Beis Hamedrash in northern Crown Heights, for their second public lighting of their 9ft Menorah.
The happy and lively atmosphere inspired many Jews and Non-Jews alike.
Twelve pesukim were recited by neighboring boys and girls along with songs, doughnuts and 12 prizes raffled off.
Rabbi Yisroel Shemtov a great admirer of the Shul was honored with the lighting.
A neighbor that is Jewish musician surprised the crowd with singing Jewish songs and playing with his guitar.
A donation was raffled off between the Kolel Yungerleit present for the event.
