if this is what your yeshiva teaches you to “stay away” from a sefer that many gadolim all over the world learn themselves and quite frankly praise, you will not accept anything from anyone else and your learning could be in peril. chaval.

It’s not a concise answer…did you listen to the shiur?

hatzalacha on learning Tanya–it’s such an essential, vital sefer! Perhaps you can go on chabad.org for more resources on it…

I don’t have access to that sefer (it isn’t allowed in my yeshiva and I was told to stay away from it even bein hazmanim).

Instead of giving me an address (a mara mokom) can you give me anintelligent response? Please provide a concise answer to my question (in #3) – if you can?!

Many goyim have mesiras nefesh for their causes! Soldiers go to war and die for their national causes! The cry of< Give me liberty or give me death was for political causes! And we all know the suicide bombers who die for religious causes!

very nice class
