Gary Gedalyia Lichtenstein, member of the congregation Mishkan Menachem in Crown Heights, passed away on Shabbos, July 16.
Gedalia volunteered for many years as a children’s basketball league coach and coordinator of Oholei Torah Basketball of the boys school in Crown Heights.
He is survived by his wife Yocheved Lichtenstein, and children Rachel Lichtenstein – Crown Heights, Andrew Chaim Lichtenstein – Riverdale, NY; Jeffrey Lichtenstein – Sands Point, Long Island; Elana Alexa Greenspan – Teaneck, NJ; grandchildren.
The levaya will take place Monday, July 17 at 9:00 AM from Shomrei Hadas Chapels 2803 14th Ave Brooklyn, NY 11218. Funeral procession will pass by 770 Eastern Parkway at 9:40 am and continue to the Lincoln Park Cemetary – 1469 Post Road, Warwick, Rhode Island 02888.
