R’ Eli Baitelman OBM suddenly and tragically passed away last night at the age of 40.
While so many dear friends around the world are grieving, for his wife, and orphaned children, life as they know it will never be the same.
Eli was talented and charismatic, and in his many unassuming acts of kindness, left an everlasting impression on so many.
With his limited time and resources, he was a tremendous Baal Chesed, and was known as the “Go-To” guy for so many seeking advice, guidance, and kindness.
Stated a reputable Los Angeles community member:
“So many of these stories will never be told, but I can personally attest to the massive heart Reb Eli had, and the countless people he helped anonymously.”
“The tragedy is truly unthinkable, with 7 Yesomim ages 17 and down, and a new almanah, all alone.”
Klal Yisroel are all one family, and the Baitelman’s pain is all of ours.
Today, we, as a people must come together and comfort, the bereaved family, in any way we can.
There are many questions that lay ahead for the Baitelman family. Klal Yisroel being “Rachmonim, Bnei Rachmonim, we can, at the very least come together and help ensure some financial stability for this young, grieving family.
This campaign will be overseen by a newly formed Vaad, who will ensure all funds go directly to the family in a responsible manner.
