On Monday, a fundraising campaign was launched for the Kupas Bochurim organization, which assists 770 bochurim.
The Bochurim in 770, whether in Kevutzah or in the following years, are immersed in their Torah study day and night.
Many of them don’t have the ability to support themselves with the most needed day to day necessities, and when it comes to extra large expenses, such as a winter coat, clothing, and Yom Tov expenses, they have nowhere to turn.
The Kupas Bachurim organization is currently working to subsidize clothing packages for the bochurim for the upcoming Pesach holiday, providing them with clothing from head to toe.
Sunday night, the bochurim gathered to launch the campaign.
During the gathering, they spoke about the organization’s activities that bochurim enjoy throughout the year. The bochurim were asked to help as much as they could and to take responsibility for themselves and their friends for the success of the campaign.
The bochurim have pledged to assist as much as they can, setting up fundraising goals and teams to enlist their family and friends to donate.
“We all hope that the campaign will be successful, and that the bochurim of the yeshiva will be able to enter the Pesach holiday with everything they need and in abundance,” the organizers said.
