Fund In Memory of Bochur

This past Yud Elul, Shneur Zalman Pevzner, a young bochur from France, tragically passed away after an illness.

The Rebbe instructed that a fund should be established and named after the deceased, which should support projects of spreading Yiddishkeit.

Being that Shneur Zalman devoted his short life to Limud Hatorah and spreading Yiddishkeit, it is important for continue and strengthen these projects.

With the family’s approval, “Keren Shneur Zalman” fund will support 2 projects:

1. As we are told the story of when the Ba’al Shem Tov met Moshiach and asked “when will Moshiach come?”, Moshiach answered: “when the wellsprings of Chassidus will spread”.

Shneur Zalman commenced a campaign of distributing Sifrei Chassidus to Rabbonim in Paris and the surrounding communities.

2. Establishing a library in Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch Brunoy, the Yeshiva in which Shneur Zalman attended from his youth and invested much energy as a Shliach. This library will iy”h contain over 2500 Seforim, mainly on the topic of Inyonei Geula U’moshiach.

In addition, A Sefer “Tiferes Shneur Zalman” will iy”h be printed in honor of Shneur Zalman’s 23rd birthday – 22 Shevat. This Sefer will include Chidushei Torah written by Shneur Zalman and friends in his memory.

It is our hope that before the Yohrtzeit we should already be with Moshiach and be united with all our loved ones and Shneur Zalman among them.
