In preparation for the upcoming school year of 5784-85, the Mechanchim of the Ohr Menachem schools gathered to gear up, refresh and grow their Chinuch skills at a full-day Kinus Mechanchim.
The training day began with joint sessions led by master educator and Chossid Rabbi Nachman Yosef Twersky on ‘Tracht Gut in Chinuch’ and educator Rabbi Shlomo Sternberg who guided the educators into the intricacies of navigating a wholesome Chassidishe Chinuch while living in a technologically driven world.
Following the joint sessions, the conference featured breakout workshops tailored to specific age groups and educational settings; Cheider, Mesivta, Zal, and Vocational Chinuch.
These workshops were followed by round-table staff meetings and sessions for each Mosad’s Mechanchim with their respective Hanhala.
The workshops and sessions were led by distinguished presenters and faculty, including:
Rabbi Nachman Yosef Twersky, Rabbi Shlomo Sternberg, Rabbi Avigdor Zeitlin, Rabbi Moshe Lieblich, Rabbi Avrohom Rainitz, Rabbi Zalman Goldstein, Rabbi Mendel Yusewitz, Rabbi Mendel Silman, and Rabbi Mendel Namdar.
The diverse range of expert educators and leaders ensured a rich and informative experience for all participants.
The Kinus reached its climax with an exquisite banquet. Following a special video presentation of the Rebbe on Chinuch, the banquet was led by Master of ceremonies Rabbi Zalman Goldstein. Reb Itche Mishulovin led the crowd in the Rebbe’s Kapital.
The esteemed mechanchim were addressed by: Rabbi Mendel Hendel, Rabbi Menachem Aisenman, Rabbi Sholom Dovid Geisinsky, Rabbi Zalman Liberow, Rabbi Mendel Yusewitz, Rabbi Mendel Silman, and Rabbi Mendy Baruch.
Throughout the event, beautiful melodious nigunim were played by a renowned violin artist.
All were left elated and inspired to educate throughout Shnas Halimudim 5784-5 with renewed vigor.
