A knife-wielding man randomly attacked a Frum couple walking with their 1-year-old in Lower Manhattan on Wednesday — slashing all three family members, the NY Post reported.
The family of three are visiting from Belgium, and were sitting on a bench looking at the water at about 5:30 PM, when an African-American man, suddenly appeared with a knife in his hand and started stabbing the mother and then the baby, who was in a carriage, Boro Park 24 reported.
He slashed the father on the head, the mother on the lip and the baby on the chin, the officials said.
“The mother started yelling,” a witness told Boro Park 24. “I don’t know what she said, but other witnesses said that the noise was crazy out of this world.”
After the mother’s high-pitched screams initially scared the stabber, he tried to stab the baby and cut her chin a little bit before the father pushed the attacker away. However, the attacker came back to stab the father, who later needed 12 stitches.
At this point, the mother took her daughter out of the carriage and ran away, while the Belgian Yid fought off his attacker in such a brave way, that the Boro Park witness said that police officers were shocked when they saw a video of the attack: a video that the Battery Park Administration now has, and the NYPD cannot release.
The man, who is on parole for attempted murder, was ranting during the attack, though the victims told cops that he said nothing that was anti-Semitic.
All three of the victims were treated for minor cuts by first responders on the scene and declined further medical attention.
A 30-year-old parolee was arrested in the assault and cops recovered the knife after canvassing the area, the sources said.
The man was released from jail last month, police said. The investigation is ongoing.

oh come on blame de blasio for other things but not for this. crime will always happen in new york. and even if the crime numbers go down under a republican mayor, you don’t know for sure that this incident wouldn’t have happened. and how do you know this individual was in jail before?

It’s time we take a hard look at why and how these murderers make parole and under what conditions. Clearly this murderer should have remained locked up in jail.
Actually, it’s not so clear he belongs in jail. He might belong in a mental institution. Or grave. The jail system is horrific, regardless. We don’t as a society have a good answer for how to deal with people who commit crimes
A mental institution has well people as well just with people who have mental challenges I.e suicide anxiety etc. why should they have to sit with him in the hospital?

Put him in prison and put him there for life! Why do the murderes end up being freed and people who just maybe did some money laundering end up for life!

A black man stabbed 3 Jewish people including an infant. Sadly, I am not surprised that this is not considered news, these days it is only considered news when criminals are treated roughly. This is a hate crime of the first degree and should be widely publicized. He should be punished to the full extent of the law and kept in a cage where he can no longer be a threat to decent citizens. Keeping this quiet is enabling such monsters.
The victims did say that he didn’t say anti Semitic statements during the attack, so maybe he’s mentally ill and didn’t mean it as a hate crime
Or he felt stabbing visibly Jewish people didn’t need any additional action to show what we was actually doing. There were other people in the park but somehow the very orthodox looking couple were stabbed but it was probably not racist? Brilliant. Now I know why they can continue to act this way. WE make the excuses FOR THEM.
That’s why he chose the most obviously Jewish people in the area. Make sure that open mind of yours doesn’t let your brains escape.
This is the fault of the crazy “no bail” law.

This follows the pattern in the recent anti-Asian attacks and the string of antisemitic attacks during Hanukah 2019. Homeless African Americans ex-convicts, who probably should be in the NYS mental institutions which closed in the past 20 years, are committing hate crimes against Asians, whites and Jews. Please stop excusing the anti-Semitic and anti-Asian terrorism from the black community. Most of them are not mentally ill. Furthermore, why are the attackers black people, not whites, Jews etc?
The simple truth is that there is far more racism and bigotry in the black community than anywhere else. The hate crime data shows that. The hate-crime apologists need to start lecturing the black community about racism instead of lecturing us victims.
Who is the judge who let this criminal out of prison?
His name should be plastered all over. The judges should know they will be accountable if a criminal they let off the hook does more crime.
Prisons are not changing the people (except Aleph Institute). The prisoners are not being taught how to function in a society. They are also not being taught that there is a Creator watching over their actions. The prisoners also get attacked in prison by other prisoners and suffer a lot of abuse and become the aggressors when they get released. There need to be more psychiatrists and proper psychiatric medicine given in the prisons. There’s needs to be prison reform. Aleph Institute, you have a lot of work ahead of you, hatzlocho.
Comments like yours don’t help to protect the public. The thought of swift and harsh punishment is the only deterrent to certain types of criminals who enjoy making people suffer.
