30:23
Talmud CHULIN 139b
From where in the Torah can one find an allusion to Mordecai?
He replied: As it is written with regard to the anointing oil in the Tabernacle: “And you shall also take the chief spices, of flowing myrrh [מר דרור] (Exodus 30:23); and we translate mor deror into Aramaic as:,
מירא דכיא
which resembles the name Mordecai מרדכי.
Questions;
A) Why is the name hinted in the Targum?
And not in the Posuk.
B) The letters of the name מדרכי are not all the letters of מירא דכיא?
C) What is the connection of מר דרור & מירא דכיא
To Purim?
