some performers might be on “automatic pilot” performing the same songs night after night…so I looked at the pic and thought he was grabbing some down time to finish his Chitas

besides it shows that when a yid gets up and sings its a time to communicate with the ribono shel oilam as opposed to another genre of music

he is one of the best shluchim out there and may he live forever he influenced my yiddishkeit to a unestimable degree

Does he always sing “prayers2 davka out of a siddur? He’s not davening! Or was there intended sentimental purpose in his praying those words as they apply to the circumstances, davka out of a Chitas – probably with a picture of the Rebbe somewhere inside as well.
