A new three week overnight camp for boys aged 8-13 has been opened by Chabad on Campus of Sceaux, France and was met with great enthusiasm by campers and staff.
Machane Binyomin, directed by Shliach Rabbi Levi Yitzchok Mimoun, under the auspices of Head Shliach Rabbi Shmuel Azimov, is located in the Paris Suburb of Bournezeau.
43 children attended the camp from all over France, enjoying Shiurim, sports, trips, great accommodations, and devoted staff.
A highlight was a visit from the town’s Mayor, who was welcomed by the campers with a rousing French National Anthem “Ha’Aderet V’Haemunah.”
“It was a great moment,” Rabbi Mimoun told COLlive. “This was our first time directing a camp, but it won’t be the last, judging by its success.”
