Four Sifrei Torah will be completed this Wednesday in a grand Siyum celebration to mark the opening of the Kinus Hashluchim 5774.
The celebration will commence at 5:00 at Yeshivas Chovevei Torah with the completion of the final letters of 4 Sifrei Torah, and the beginning of a 5th Sefer Torah. The festivities will continue at 6:30 with a parade down Eastern Parkway towards 770 where the traditional Hakofos will be held with the participation of singer Avraham Fried.
The 5 Sifrei Torah have been donated anonymously in honor of the Rebbe and the thousands of Shluchim he sent to all corners of the world to care for Kol Hayehudim Baolom. The 4 Sifrei Torah to be completed on Wednesday are symbolic of the 4 corners of the world mentioned in the Pasuk of ‘Uforatzta’ that the Rebbe often invoked regarding the Shluchim, and will be donated to various Chabad Houses around the world.
The Va’ad HaKinus invites the Shluchim and all of Anash to participate in this unique celebration. Refreshments will be served throughout the event, and a special program for children at 5:30 will be conducted by singer Chaim Fogelman.

What an amazing way to start off the Kinus! I’m sure the Rebbe is proud!
As one of the shluchim in a far flunged corner of the world I must say that although I can’t make it to the kinus this year, sadly, however, this truly warms my heart! Thank you!
