Junior Nshei’s annual pre-Pesach event hosted a standing-room only crowd. The program began with an interactive PowerPoint presentation on “tidying up inside” – working on our middos so that we can “clean up” some unwanted traits. S. Blau helped the women figure out where and how they could improve in their “inside work.”
Shifra Klein, founder of the new Bitayavon magazine, spoke about her creative journey and demonstrated how to make a delicious fish dish from the Pesach issue. The crowd was also treated to a selection of desserts from her inaugural issue.
Declutter, Da’cleaner, Da’better – learning the tricks to creating an organized home was presented by Mrs. T. Hershkovitz, co-founder of the Hakol Beseder initiative. From tips to real life tools, Mrs. Hershkovitz explained that it really can be done, and with a smile too! From laundry, morning and evening routines, to finding space in our humble abodes, the women took notes of all her tips. Members were able to purchase tested organizing items, which ran out in no time at all. Crown Heights is going to be really organized this Pesach!
Another successful Junior Nshei evening came to a close, but the real work has just begun. Happy cleaning!
