The sprawling Jewish community in North Miami Beach is home to many, including a frum police officer.
Yehuda Topper, who served the New York City Police Department for 5 years, recently joined the North Miami Beach Police Department.
Topper was sworn in at a public ceremony at the Senator Gwen Margolis Amphitheatre on Thursday.

The kippah-wearing officer is said to be allowed to take off from Friday evening to Saturday evening to observe Shabbos with his family and community.
