Florida State Capitol Officials Get a Sweet Gift and Book

Over a handful of distinguished people working in the Florida State Capitol in Tallahassee were recently visited by Rabbi Schneur and Chanie Oirechman, Executive Directors of Chabad of Tallahassee and Florida State University.

The visit was coordinated in honor of the holiday of Shavuos, celebrating the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai and presenting the world with a roadmap for living with a moral purpose.

To share the holiday spirit, Rabbi Oirechman handed out personal cheesecakes to individuals as it is customary to eat dairy on Shavuos.

He also distributed copies of the book, “Seven Paths to Love, Life, Purpose and Serenity,” based on the seven laws of Noach and the Rebbe‘s teachings, that has been published by Rabbi Mendy Katz of the Aleph Institute.
