While on Mivtzoim near Yale University this week, Bochurim from Mesivta Bais Dovid Shlomo in New Haven met a group of students who were filming a documentary about ‘what advice would you give your younger self.’
The bochurim were asked to speak on camera, and so Eli Rudd agreed to be interviewed and spoke about the idea of Hashgacha Protis.
The bochurim then inquired if they were Jewish, and were told that the filmmaker is Jewish but had never put on tefillin.
He agreed and they helped him with it, celebrating his Bar Mitzvah.
