Farbrengen for Miami Lubavitchers

Hundreds came to join in the grand Yud Shvat Farbrengen that was held in the luxurious Shul of Bais Menachem of North Miami Beach in Florida.

Distinguished Rabbis, Shluchim, Anash and women were welcomed by Rabbis Y. Marlow and E. Laufer for the impressive event that was organized by Rabbi Shmuel Reinetz.

The event formally began with Rabbi M. Cass as the emcee, inspiring the audience about the Rebbe. The Rebbe’s kapital was recited by Rabbi S. Spalter who was an eyewitness of Yud Shvat 5711.

The Rebbe’s Niggunim were sung by all attendees, led by the talented Anash Kapelia: Rabbis C. Teitelbaum, B. Comissar, K. Cohen, C.B. Brody, Y. Marrus, Z. Mochkin and musician M. Pekar.

A synopsis of the Bosi Legani was delivered by Rabbi B. Korf focusing on giving Anash the feelings of true Hiskashrus and the tools to transmit it to the next generation.

The guest of honor was Rabbi Shmuel Butman, Executive Director of the Central Lubavitch Youth Organization (Tzach) in New York, who spoke eloquently and emotionally about the theme of Hiskashrus including powerful stories and an unforgettable message.

Rabbi Leibel Schapiro concluded with passion on the many lessons imparted from this special day. The feelings amongst the crowd and the special memories that were shared were truly memorable.

As the formal part of the evening came to an end, after many L’Chaims and plentiful food, many sat down to an informal Chasidic Farbrengen with Rabbi S. Butman and fellow Shluchim sharing personal memories and words of inspiration.
