In honor of this year’s Shnas Hakhel, the idea of a “Hakhel in a Box” was created through the Morristown Cheder in New Jersey.
The box is a practical form to bring Hakhel to families with resources to make a fun and Chassidishe Hakhel gathering.
Included in the box wasa specially made game – Hakhel and to ride, (Ticket to ride – Hakhel version), a fun game gaining knowledge of all the places that the Rebbe traveled to.
Also included was a Hakhel-themed food craft, plus a challenge card with special prizes for the children to take on special hachlotos, and a transcript of a farbrengen.
The Hakhel Box was made in time and was in honor of the Rebbetzin’s birthday, Chof Hei Adar, and all local families were able to sign up and receive it.
Thanks was given to Rabbi Yossi Spalter, and to Cheder Lubavitch Morristown, who helped this come to a reality.
Organizers also thanked Friendship Circle NJ in Livingston for opening for facility to pack the boxes.
The bochurim who pulled the project together were: Mendel Susskind, Meir Danow, Mendel Pinson, Moshe Kaplan, Eli Goldstein. The farbrengen transcript was written by Berel Grossbaum.

This is such an amazing idea! Made fully by Bochurim, no professionals involved! The design in unbelievable!
