A full house attended Mikvah.org’s part 1 of 3 events geared to women of all ages. Part II of “Let’s Talk about It” addresses issues that can arise during the different stages of womanhood.
“It’s so nice to see these topics finally being addressed,” exclaimed women in the community.
“Health and Intimacy” with Sharon Safdieh, DPT, Pelvic Floor and Intimacy Therapist par excellence, was well attended. Sharon’s refined demeanor and professionalism were tempered with warmth and sincerity as she shared her knowledge and expertise giving solutions to possible issues that arise within our intimate lives.
The next event in the series, a “Conversation with Dr. Yael Fuchs, MD”, renowned OB/GYN, will take place January 10th.
Dr. Fuchs will talk about the changes that occur as we reach the big 4-0. Learn how to deal with this sometimes confusing stage of life, in a practical and understandable way.
“Is he for me?” Hear Dr. Miriam Gross PsyD, LMFT, a local Crown Heights Marriage and Family Therapist who deals with issues on dating, and marriage. Dr. Gross will present practical advice to single girls on how to know if their date is for them, clarify the meaning of emotional connection possible red flags to be aware of while dating, and some possible solutions to that may help in moving forward with a good shiduch. Mrs. Sara Morozow will then be presenting a talk on the hashkafic outlook of the time period of engagement.
