Chabad schools in the tri-state area have seen an influx in student growth in recent years. With more classes than ever before, schools constantly seek to expand their staff with educators of the highest caliber.
As a service to both prospective teachers and community schools, the Menachem Education Foundation will be sponsoring a teaching job fair on Wednesday, April 17 at Lubavitcher Yeshiva from 8:00-9:30pm.
With over 30 positions available, the job fair will allow jobseekers to meet prospective employers and network with other mechanchim in the field.
“The profession of teaching is one of the most influential and important jobs in our communities,” explains Rabbi Zalman Shneur, founder and executive director of the Menachem Education Foundation.
“Our children deserve top talent in their classrooms. At Menachem we believe that administrators should be able to hire the best and brightest and place the most effective and professional educators in their schools to empower student learning.”
Since 2008, the MEF has been training new teachers through its acclaimed Teacher Training Program, directed by Rabbi Zelig Silber. Upon completion of the program, MEF has continuously assisted individual graduates in securing positions in Chabad schools and became a matchmaker of sorts in recommending qualified applicants to school administrators seeking to fill open positions. The popular service led to the establishment of the MEF’s first job fair.

Thank you Zalmen Schneur and the Menachem Foundation for this great and long overdue idea. It’s good for the schools and good for the potential teachers! Thank you for once again being at the forefront of change in our Chabad education system!
For men and women? Or just male teachers?
