Earl Mann Gives Voice to Chabad

Chabad Lubavitch of Toronto in Ontario, Canada, will be running a Pesach awareness ad campaign on the popular 680 News radio station during the week before the holiday.

The ad which is part of a series of Chabad’s Holiday inspirational message produced and voiced by Earl Mann, a noted radio voice personality considered to be the top voice in Canada. He’s known in the industry as “The voice of G-d” for of his deep resonant voice.

“Earl is a good friend, with a real Yiddeshe Neshama, who is excited to be able to use his G-d given talent to promote Jewish awareness and inspiration,” said Shliach Rabbi Moshe Spalter who oversees the project.

“He has spent a lot of time on this project, making sure that it is perfect. He even got the sound studio that he works to contribute their services free of charge as well.”

Head Shliach of Ontario Rabbi Zalman Aron Grossbaum said: “The impact of these spots have surprised us. Every time the spot plays we get calls in our office from people who feel a rush of pride hearing it on most popular news station. We are indebted to Steeles Memorial Chapel who has been sponsoring the campaign for the last few years.”

Mann already completed ads for Rosh Hashanah, Chanukah and Purim. The audio clip for Pesach is accompanied by a Chabad niggun sung by Jewish music superstar Avraham Fried.

“Although the spot we run is specific to Toronto, we have also produced a generic series of ads that can be used in any city are making the spots available to any Chabad community that would like to run them,” said Rabbi Spalter.
